The Reverend William Henry Hanna caught a chill after conducting a wedding at Swindon, lung trouble developed and died. He left behind a widow and four sons and a married daughter which means there is a son missing. Educated at Bishop's College, Calcutta was ordained a Deacon in 1919, became a Priest in 1920 and was at that time assistant Chaplain at Karachi.
