- For some years he had been resident in Pontycymmer. Some time previously he suffered and accident from which he never really fully recovered. For reasons of his health he came to Anglesea House, Kingwell, High Littleton the residence of his wife's mother (Mrs W J Lewis) and whilst there was seized with what proved to be a fatal illness from which he passed away despite every medical care and attention. Much sympathy was extended to his wife one child to mourn his loss.
