Bea was a warm and loving human being who through correspondence, held the family together. Her hearing failing, she enjoyed letter writing and will long be remembered for her many letters to her family, and friends. On January 6, 1966 she received her 50-year pin for membership of the George Washington Chapter No, 333 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
