- Loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 of Natural Causes.
Elaine was born September 8, 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lorenzo Joseph Coles and Gerda Julianna Johnson.
She married the love of her life Lewis Garrett Strong, October 21, 1938. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple and have been married for 69 years.
They were the proud parents of three children Judy, Jill and Bud.
She is survived by her loving husband Lewis Strong, Judy Fitzgerald (Kent), and Bud Strong (Viki).
Preceding her in death was daughter Jill Hertig (Mike).
She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
Also survived by brother, Mike Coles (MaryLou), sister Pat Carter (Bruce).
Funeral Services will be Friday, Dec 21, 2007 at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, at 11 a.m.
A viewing will be held at the Larkin Mortuary, Thurs., evening 6-8 p.m and one hour prior to services on Friday.
Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery.
