Received a photo of Thomas Taylor from Ken Kuhnell. Thomas Taylor has turned out to be very elusive and little more is known about him other than he served aboard the HMS Iron Duke during the First World War.
Updates to the ancestors of Hannah Maria Chapman using the Legacy – New Family Search feature available within Legacy. Newly discovered surnames include Gill, Noy, Hellyar and quite a few place names in the vicinity of Padstow in Cornwall.
I thought it was time I looked into the individuals shown on the statistics page as being the “longest lived” in the records. It seemed that 116 years old was just a little too optimistic an age and proper research revealed mistakes in the research. This has now been corrected as well as several others who were reported to have lived well in excess of 100 years. The individuals that remain I believe are accurate.
